soundLINCS
soundLINCS is a not-for-profit community music organisation operating across the East Midlands. Working in partnership with local, regional and national organisations, soundLINCS provides and develops high quality and innovative music-making opportunities and training for all ages and communities.
They are a key Youth Music strategic partner, delivering projects including their Fund C programme, three years of work with children in challenging circumstances in five distinct sectors – looked after children, youth justice services, paediatric services, young parents with children and children with special education needs, including those who are hearing impaired.
Fantastic, Amazing, Brilliant! (aka FAB!) is an annual action-packed day for Looked After Children held in Lincolnshire Showground’s EPIC Centre and produced by soundLINCS for Lincolnshire County Council Children’s Services participation team.
For the past three years it has combined a presentation ceremony for children and young people from all over Lincolnshire with a huge diversity of music and arts activities based around a chosen theme. There was also a long service Award Ceremony for Foster Carers as well as a Foster Carers Conference giving them the opportunity to learn and liaise with other carers.
