NYMAZ
NYMAZ is a youth music development charity working with a range of partner organisations to deliver high quality music-making activities across North Yorkshire. NYMAZ also runs professional networks which enable musicians and practitioners to develop their skills and learn from one another. Over the next three years, they have committed to supporting and developing a cohort of young music leaders through a Young Ambassadors programme, aiming to embed youth voice within the organisation. Young Ambassadors will be invited to take part in informal consultations while attending social events, participatory music workshops and training. They also play a key role in signposting peers and parents or carers to NYMAZ’s activities.
NYMAZ are currently leading The North Yorkshire Young Leaders programme that aims to support the sustainability of quality youth-led music provision across the county. This programme looks to engage aspiring young music leaders in a tailored development programme that will support them in making the transition to a career in music.
